PHASE I Start Date: June 21st**

 

 

OVERVIEW

This phase begins a limited return to in-person worship services on campus with strict social distancing and health precautions to include the wearing of masks. Members of the vulnerable population* are encouraged to stay home and watch online. There will be programing for Bible Study made available online at www.PCCministry.org, https://www.facebook.com/groups/PCCChurch, & https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=peninsula+community+church+selbyville  


SUNDAY SERVICE - 10:00 AM Worship Service. All ages are may attend, but members of the population vulnerable to Covid-19 are encouraged not to attend, and worship online at  www.PCCministry.org, https://www.facebook.com/groups/PCCChurch & https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=peninsula+community+church+selbyville  


ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL – Suspended until September date to be announced later

CHILDCARE/NURSERY - Suspended until Phase III

 

KIDS’ WORSHIP – Suspended until Phase III


MUSIC MINISTRY – Praise team will perform beginning in Phase I using State of Delaware protocols at the time of service, however, rehearsals are suspended until Phase II

 

MINISTRY EVENTS/OTHER ON-CAMPUS ACTIVITIES - All regular ministry events and other on-campus activities are suspended until Phase III. Meanwhile watch for online programming for spiritual growth and maintenance.

OVERVIEW - Carefully regulated in-person worship services with modest social distancing encouraged. Members of the vulnerable population* may return but are encouraged to use extreme care and wear a mask.

HEALTH PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES

  


 

The following health procedures are being implemented

to ensure the health and safety of our congregation:

 

- Required temperature checks for all PCC staff members and volunteers before each worship service, ministry event/program, and church activity

- Required temperature checks for each volunteer and child in the Nursery


- Masks required as indicated above for all Nursery volunteers


- Masks required as indicated above for all greeters, ushers, teachers, and other volunteers


- Hand sanitizing stations placed at the entrances of each building


- Worship Guides will be not available until Phase IV


 - Honor boxes will be located at the foyers/exits of each worship service location


- No food or beverages will be served until Phase IV


- Use of water fountains will be suspended until Phase IV


- Extensive cleaning/sanitizing of all buildings upon the conclusion of each worship service, ministry event/program, and church activity*** 


Please observe the following guidelines when attending worship

services, ministry events/programs, and church activities:

 

- Maintain a safe distance between you and others (self-enforced social distancing)


- Maintain a touch-free environment (refrain from handshakes, hugs, etc.)


- If you prefer, wear a mask as long as you want to prevent the risk of spread


- Use the hand sanitizing stations upon entering/exiting each building

 

Please stay home and join us online if you:

- Are immune compromised


- Are uncomfortable in groups


- Have exhibited any symptoms of illness in the past 14 days


-  Have traveled outside the United States in the past 14 days


- Fall into the vulnerable population as defined by the U. S. Centers for Disease Control

Waiver of Liability  & Assumption Of All Risk

Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

 

WHEREAS: The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The state of medical knowledge is evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and even possibly in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known treatment, cure, or vaccine for COVID-19. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life threatening illness and even death.

 

Peninsula Community Church, Inc. [PCC] cannot prevent you [or your child(ren)] from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing the church’s services or premises on Cypress Road. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to utilize PCC’s services and/or enter onto the Church’s premises you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself and/or my children in order to utilize PCC’s services and enter PCC’s premises, as fully adequate consideration for this Release and Waiver. These services are of such value to me [and/or to my children,] that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 in order to utilize PCC’s services and premises in person, as a condition thereto.

 

WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby, on behalf of myself as well as all my children and all those with whom I serve in loco parentis, forever release, completely absolve, discharge, and waive my right to bring suit against PCC and its owner Covenant Members, Elders, officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, and/or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 OR SIMILAR VIRUS related to utilizing PCC’s services and premises. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

 

CHOICE OF LAW: I understand and agree that the law of the State of Delaware will apply to this contract, which shall remain FULLY BINDING IN THE FUTURE, BEYOND THIS DATE.

 

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS RELEASE, AND FREELY AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME THE RISK AND WAIVE MY RIGHTS CONCERNING LIABILITY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, FULLY INTENDING TO BE BINDING UPON MYSELF AS WELL AS MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, AND ASSIGNS:
